Open to Veteran, Active-Duty Service Member, and Military Family Members

Training

  • Cost: Free for eligible participants (Please note, there are course minimums for enrollment and confirmation of registration is not confirmed until those minimums have been met.)

    • Veterans (honorable discharge)
    • Active-duty military members
    • Active-duty family members (DD-214 or valid military/retire ID card required) 

  • Credentials: Receive the OSHA Course Completion Certificate upon successful completion.

  • Format: All courses are live, interactive held via Zoom, with industry experts.


Eligibility Requirements

To attend, you must provide one of the following:

  • Proof of qualified active-duty service member status 
  • Proof of current military family member status (DoD ID card required) 
  • Proof of veteran status with an honorable discharge noted on Form DD-214



Attendance & Technical Requirements

OSHA requires strict compliance:

  • Full Attendance: You must be present for the entire duration of the course.

  • Camera & Audio: You must remain on video and audio for the whole class (monitors will be present to verify attendance).

In order to attend an OSHA course you MUST obtain pre-approval from the region you reside in. 

Follow these steps to obtain pre-approval before the course start date:

1. Find your region here OTI Education Center Locations

2. Take note of all education centers listed within your region

3. Get contact emails for your region's education center's director by visiting their websites

4. Download this simple pre-approval request email template, copy and replace with your course info

5. Email your region's directors and CC us! info@cefotiec.org

ALL pre-approval emails MUST be sent to info@cefotiec.org BEFORE the course start date
